Common Questions

Is CIMC only for healthcare professionals?
Yes. CIMC is designed for qualified healthcare and pediatric professionals, including OTs/COTAs, PTs/PTAs, SLPs, early intervention providers, developmental therapists, NICU and pediatric nurses, lactation consultants, massage therapists, and other qualified pediatric providers.
Will CIMC count for continuing education in my state?
CIMC has the professional approvals and physical therapy continuing education information listed in the Course Approvals & Continuing Education section below the dates. The “additional states” list applies specifically to PT continuing education. Acceptance can still vary by profession and licensing board, so always verify with your individual licensing or credentialing organization. For a contact-hour question, contact Laura.
Is the training live or self-paced?
November 6–7, 2026, and March 19–20, 2027, are two-day courses taught live on Zoom. The February 27, 2027, hybrid course combines self-paced Day 1, opening November 15, 2026, with a live Zoom Day 2. Complete Day 1 by February 24, 2027.
When will I receive my course materials?
Your Welcome module is available upon enrollment. We will send the Zoom details and information about physical supplies before your live session; February hybrid Day 1 opens November 15, 2026.
Can I use a payment plan?
Available two-day live dates offer pay-in-full, two-payment, and three-payment options. The February hybrid date offers the same three payment options.
Is the $97 Professional Practice Upgrade required?
No. Core Essentials are included with CIMC tuition. Through October 30, 2026, you can add the optional Professional Practice Upgrade to any CIMC purchase for a one-time $97. It includes a customized infant massage doll, massage oil and the Expanded Essentials Vault.
